In order to purchase a car, you need to request this from the trustee. The trustee will probably want to know what kind of vehicle you are looking for and how much it will cost. The trustee will then request an order to incur additional debt from the judge. If this is granted, then you can apply for a car loan. There are still a few lenders that will look at someone that is in a current bankruptcy, provided they have the order to incur additional debt from the court. Cheryl,
