Ford to Bring Back Employee Pricing

Program not official yet
As automakers scramble to make the best of one of the worst years on record, here at Auto Credit Express we wanted to give you an advanced look at a new sales incentive program from Ford Motor Company.
According to a source at the Associated Press, a person briefed on the incentive stated that most 2008 and 2009 models will be part of a year-end clearance sale. The sale, which will be based on employee pricing, will also offer cash rebates in addition to the special deals. The program is scheduled to begin on November 19th and run through January 5th.
When contacted by the AP, George Pipas, sales and financial analyst at Ford, said that he was unable to comment on any future promotion programs, although he did say that Ford was planning a year-end sales event much like similar programs being offered from other manufacturers.
New F-series not part of promotion
While most of the Ford stable of vehicles will be included, the newly launched F-150, according to the Associated Press, will not be part of the program – although nothing was mentioned about the remaining 2008 F-150’s currently on dealer lots that may very well be included in the employee pricing offer.
