Kia and Toyota Incentives for December
by Steve Cypher on Friday, December 4th, 2009Bad credit car loan customers can take advantage of new car incentives on some affordable vehicles from both Kia and Toyota.
Auto Credit Express
At Auto Credit Express our business is to match up customers with bad credit that are looking for an auto loan with dealers in our nationwide network that can help them get a loan while rebuilding their car credit and improving their FICO scores. But the process of reestablishing your auto credit can be an expensive one – especially if you choose the wrong car.
New cars are usually more reliable than used cars, but often the added expense puts them out of reach for many bad credit car loan customers. Fortunately, new car incentives, in the form of customer cash, can not only lower the price of a new vehicle, they can also contribute to the down payment requirements of many subprime lenders.
For the month of December, both Toyota and Kia are offering customer cash on some models that are ideal vehicles for bad credit car loan financing.
December Toyota incentives
Although Toyota is only offering cash incentives on only one of its vehicles this month, the good news is that the particular vehicle that’s being incentivized is the Toyota Yaris – their most affordable model – and the incentive amount is $750. And while the Yaris may be a bit small for some buyers, it if happens to fit your particular needs, there are a number of good things that it has going for it.
Number one, pricing on the base Yaris sedan with an automatic transmission starts at $14,665, including destination, before the $750 in customer cash is deducted. Secondly, Toyotas traditionally have excellent resale value, which means that, in most cases you’ll be in decent shape, equity-wise, throughout much of the loan term.
December Kia incentives
Most bad credit car loan customers should be in love with Kia. Although the model line, as a whole, doesn’t enjoy the same resale value as Toyota, all Kias come with one of the best warranties in the business with a 5 year, 60,000 mile limited warranty and a 10 year, 100,000 powertrain warranty along with a 5 year, 60,000 mile roadside assistance plan. So unless you plan on driving the stink out of your car, you probably don’t need to purchase an extended service contract with a new Kia.
The Korean manufacturer is currently offering incentives on all of its models. The most affordable Kia, the 2009 Rio (starting at $14,770 for the LX automatic), comes with $1,500 in customer cash. Next up is the 2010 Forte, which replaced the 2009 Spectra ($15,390 for the LX automatic), which has $1000 in customer cash. The 2009 Optima ($19,645 in LX automatic guise) is Kia’s family sedan and comes with a whopping $2,500 in customer cash. Even the Sorento LX rear wheel drive model, with a base price of $23,440, becomes more affordable with the $5,000 in customer cash currently “on the hood”.
The Bottom Line
At Auto Credit Express, we feel it’s important that you make the right choices when it comes to a bad credit car loan buying decision. Those choices include finding the right dealer and the right car to help you reestablish your auto credit. Any one of the above models, with their customer cash, will make a bad credit car loan more affordable, while keeping interest costs down.
