by Steve Cypher on Thursday, June 10th, 2010

Consumers with bad credit that need to finance a car with auto loans for bad credit should take a look at a new Kia as the Korean manufacturer continues with new car incentives of some of its most affordable models.

Bad credit car loans

If you’re reading this, chances are you have bad credit and you need a car. Fortunately, bad credit auto loan web sites such as www.autocreditexpress.com have helped thousands of applicants just like you reestablish their auto credit. You can begin the process simply by filling out our online car loans with bad credit auto loan application. By avoiding a tote the note dealer and qualifying for a second chance auto loan at one of our affiliate dealers, you will not only establish auto credit, you can actually raise your credit scores at the same time.

But you need to be careful. A car that’s too expensive can stretch your budget, which could result in repossession. If this happens, the only remaining choice for most auto loans for bad credit buyers is a Tote the Note, We Finance Everyone car dealer. It also means that rebuilding your car credit has to be put on hold for at least a year, since lenders who originate bad credit car loans will only consider applicants with a repossession that’s more than a year old.

That being said, once you’ve filled out our secure online bad credit auto loan application and been approved at one of our dealers, the next step is to match up your payment call with either a new or used car in that dealer’s inventory. But even if you’ve been considering a used car, you might want to read this first.

June Kia new car incentives

For the month of June, Kia has maintained fairly high incentives as a percentage of MSRP (window sticker prices) on nearly its entire lineup of vehicles – from the base Rio to the top of the line Borrego. Even though Kia lists incentives for both 2009 and 2010 models, the only 2009 that’s available at most dealers is the Rondo, which does not have a 2010 version at this time.

Customer cash incentives in June for the 2009 Rondo and for other 2010 models are as follows:

2010 Kia Rio – With a starting MSRP of $12,390, the Rio is the most affordable Kia. It is also an ideal new car for car loans with bad credit. The June Kia Rio rebate is $1,000, making it a very affordable choice.

2010 Kia Forte – The Forte replaces the Kia Spectra and is all-new for 2010 with a starting MSRP of $14,390 – also making it affordable for bad credit auto loan buyers. For June, Kia has carried over the May rebate of $1,000 plus an additional customer cash bonus of $500 for a total of $1,500.

2010 Kia Forte Koup – The Forte Koup is also new for 2010 and has a higher starting MSRP of $17,290 due to its higher base options content. The Koup has a rebate of $500 plus an additional $500 in bonus cash for a total of $1,000.

2010 Kia Optima – The Optima is larger than either the Rio or the Forte and it has a starting MSRP of $18,690, which is at the upper end for most bad credit car loan buyers, but with $1,500 in customer cash plus another $500 in bonus cash, it does become more affordable.

2009 Kia Rondo – The Rondo is only available as a 2009 model and it has a base MSRP of $18,190. What should make it appealing to bad credit buyers is the fact that it currently has $2,000 in rebate cash plus Kia’s 10-year, 100,000-mile limited drivetrain warranty plus a 5-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty.

It should also be noted that if you currently own a vehicle that is on a particular Kia model’s competitive bonus list, you may qualify for an additional $500 to $1,000 on the Forte, Optima and Rondo.

The Bottom Line

Kia currently makes many of the most affordable new cars available in the U.S., a key point when you plan on financing your next vehicle with a bad credit car loan. In addition, the 5-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty (which includes roadside assistance) plus the 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty is one of the best in the business – which could possibly save you money by eliminating the need to purchase an extended service contract.

I got the opportunity to drive the new Kia forte with the economy package and was astonished. Roomy, comfortable and peppy. They really nailed this one. I have heard that the silica tires are expensive to replace, is it true?

Great to see at least kia offerings some incentives for new cars before fall… most of the buyers aren’t interested to spend money on new cars until fall due to lack of good offers… hopefully, this would turn things around!
