Celebrate Random Act of Kindness Week With Auto Credit Express

“No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.”

This was said by a famous storyteller named Aesop, and it is full of truth. Sometimes you may feel that you cannot do anything important enough to make a difference in someone’s life. But even in ancient Greece someone knew that even the small things can make a huge difference to a person who needs it. Some may say that these random acts of kindness, known around the world as RAKs, are what makes us human.

Share Your RAK Story

Take for instance, this story that has recently been quite popular and endearing on the Internet. It is a letter that a mother wrote to a stranger that sat next to she and her 3-year-old daughter with autism called “Dear ‘Daddy’ in Seat 16C’. Expecting to be apologizing the entire flight, this mother was surprised and extremely grateful that a complete stranger acted so kindly towards her daughter that she immediately trusted him enough to call him a “Daddy,” her word for someone safe.

Playing and chatting nearly the whole flight, he kindly never corrected the small child on the title she had given him. Even when she got upset as the plane landed, he tried to help keep her calm. This act of kindness cost him no extra time, no extra money from his pocket. And it will be an event that this mother will likely remember for a long time, if not forever.
