Monitor your Credit during Bad Credit Auto Loans

Its important to keep track of your credit but it can be critical when you are financing with online car loans bad credit

About credit monitoring

If you’re currently financing a car with one of those horrible credit auto loans from a bad credit lender there is something you can do to see how your credit repair is coming along.

We think you should know what else you can do as we’ve seen this before because we’ve worked in bad credit auto sales for the past twenty years here at Auto Credit Express. During that time, we’ve also helped hundreds of buyers get approved for no credit auto loans.

At the same time we show buyers how to avoid a tote the note dealer (applicants outside our retail areas can fill out our online auto loans application to find the right dealer near them) and also educate them about the loan process (to prevent repossession).

Credit repair and credit monitoring

But in addition to terrible credit car loans there is something else that can be done to improve your FICO scores.

All three credit bureaus plus such well-known as sites as, offer services that will monitor your credit. The cost to monitor a single bureau starts at $6.95 a month while it typically costs $12.95 or more to monitor all three.

Options can include score monitoring, reports with scores, score watch, score power and credit watch. With Equifax, you can even “protect” a family of four for $344 per year.

Annual credit report

The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act allows consumers to get one credit report from each of the three bureaus once every 12 months at no charge. This is in addition to laws that allow individuals to receive reports at no charge if they are denied credit, discover errors in their reports, or if they suspect they’re a victim of identity theft.

You can take advantage of this to set up your own monitoring program. By ordering a report from a different bureau every four months, you can essentially set up a free credit monitoring service.

Not only that, but if you find any reporting errors such as an account that isn’t yours, you can immediately order reports from the other two credit bureaus under the ID theft free report system. You can also order a report, at any time, if you are denied credit based upon information from a specific bureau.

The Bottom Line

If you feel that a credit monitoring service like is worth the cost, then sign on the dotted line. But with a bit of time and effort, you can set up your own and save yourself at least $100 per year.

In addition, if you have bad credit and need a car loan, web sites like Auto Credit Express specialize in placing customers with dealers that can help them and are signed up with a broad range of lenders to ensure you have the best chance at getting approved for a car loan.

So if this is the case and you are serious about getting your car credit back on track, you can begin now by filling out our bad credit auto loan application.
