Through a partnership with spcaLA, Honda is working to promote pet adoption in the Hispanic community. Consistent with the brand's "The Power of Dreams" theme, the "CR-V Pet Adoption Drive" aims to help stray dogs find forever homes.
From now until March 31, a three-part video series will be shown on Honda's social media channels. These videos will feature actor and dog lover Carlos PenaVega, and will provide dog care tips. The feel-good spots will also highlight features of the highly-rated 2017 Honda CR-V.
This web-based video series comes on the heels of Honda's Spanish-language television commercial entitled "Best Friends." This spot first aired in February, and follows a young boy and a dog through a very emotional journey. Along the way, it is made apparent that sometimes the best dreams are the ones that help others make their dreams come true. And, of course, the CR-V is prominently featured.
Through this clever and engaging marketing, Honda wants to inspire Hispanic consumers to embrace a new furry family member while showing them why the all-new CR-V should be their next family vehicle.
